I know I'm (probably) the only big wrestling fan here, but if folks have watched any wrestling over the last twenty years, there's a reasonable chance you've encountered Daniel Bryan/Bryan Danielson, who had fantastic runs with Ring of Honor in the '00s, WWE in the '10s, and AEW in the '20s. In his current run, he's said that he'll stop wrestling full-time when he loses his AEW championship, and last night, he did indeed lose that championship to Jon Moxley (FKA Dean Ambrose in WWE). It's the end of the career of one of the best wrestlers of the last twenty years.

No wrestler ever really goes away -- see Sting having a fantastic retirement match earlier this year in his 60s, and Ric Flair having an embarassing retirement match a couple of years ago in his 70s. But full-time careers really do end, and while Danielson will still probably do occasional matches (after the neck surgery that he's needed for a while) and might do commentary/management stuff, this is the end of seeing him near-weekly, and that's a shame. One of the all-time legends of the sport.
