Just another day in big banking. Crimes that will go mostly unpunished, and money printing like there is no tomorrow.
$3 billion fine for $670 million laundered it says in the article. seems like sufficient punishment. though i fundamentally disagree that it's a crime to "money launder", from a moral standpoint.
Didn’t they say bitcoin was for laundering money…..

Unlike banks, Bitcoin is traceable and transparent, not hidden behind opaque systems.

You mean like lightning and ecash mints?
As much as I hate banks, bitcoiners should not even be accepting the frame: "money laundering" is a crime. Crimes are crimes, moving money is not. This concept was invented in the 70s in order to surveil the population and protect the fiat system.
