As much as I hate banks, bitcoiners should not even be accepting the frame: "money laundering" is a crime. Crimes are crimes, moving money is not. This concept was invented in the 70s in order to surveil the population and protect the fiat system.
$3 billion fine for $670 million laundered it says in the article. seems like sufficient punishment. though i fundamentally disagree that it's a crime to "money launder", from a moral standpoint.
The part missing is how many people are going to jail for these crimes, right nobody as usual, only software developers get that treatment
