Here is in fact how the pizzas were bought with bitcoin in 2010, using a Coincard voucher and not a direct payment in sats.

The details are very interesting to say the least. The story has been told forever without telling us the full details as to how the transaction went. We don’t know what transpired but these allowed us to see how it went. Thanks a lot Master @DarthCoin . We were led to believe that it is a very simple transaction. Now we know that both sides are knowledgeable in this transaction.

Just seeing the 14 year old browser and web pages is fascinating on its own

Gosh, I remember when being a Gmail user was considered cutting edge (I think I started in 2005). Now most of the smart folks have bent over backward to untangle themselves from all things Google.

So it was not paid like we thought it would have been transacted. It was a voucher so we have been fooled into thinking that the payor is really dumb in this case. The service provider is dumber than we thought.

It's crazy how some things have changed so much and others remain relatively the same.

The browsers bring memories of the old days

Wow, how curious!! In all the books I have read so far... to explain the origin of bitcoin they always refer to this pizza purchase!! And I always thought it was a simple purchase and that's it!! And now I can see the truth..!! Thanks for the information ☺️
