While a ton of what the DOJ is looking at doing like the following
The DOJ also said it was “considering behavioral and structural remedies that would prevent Google from using products such as Chrome, Play, and Android to advantage Google search and Google search-related products and features — including emerging search access points and features, such as artificial intelligence — over rivals or new entrants.”
Other “ideas” they have I’m not sure how they could justify or legally even do like
The DOJ also recommended Google make available to competitors its data within its search index and models, including its AI-assisted search features and its ad ranking data.
Messing with Googles data and making it share it would likely make Google a hell of a lot less valuable and make it hard for them to justify innovation if the data they need is given to others.
this territory is moderated
Google will never break up. They have too many politicians in their pocket.

An interesting comment I have heard on TV just now is that if the DOJ does force a breakup of Google it will be a lot different than previous DOJ-forced breakups like when the Baby Bell companies were created as there isn't a clear way to break it up and create value.
Cramer has pointed out that these proposed rules/guidelines give off the idea that
"No one is bigger than the US government" and "This is about reigning in these nation-states"
He also made fun of Google for how behind the ball they are with their AI offering Gemini. Turns out he has been using Gronk and actually likes Gronk and finds it interesting whatever that means lol
