What a roller coaster last night! I wasn’t in a good mood around 8:30 PM.
Real Betis lost the rivalry match against Sevilla (1-0). The city is divided in both teams, so that you can imagine what is going to be the main issue in sports conversation this week.
I decided to forget the football and watch a bit of NFL. Red zone was really entertaining. Ravens getting a last second win and Jaguars winning their first match.
Then, at a late time here in Spain, Packers started playing. I thought I was going to watch just the first half and go to bed.
It started really well with a TD for the Packers and I thought it was going to be easy. Then the Rams came back. Even the Packers QB gave and extraordinary pass to the Rams player to score a TD. Things were not looking good at halftime.
So, I decided to stay a bit longer. Would the Packers be able to win the match? The third quarter was different. There was a fumble and an interception, both followed by a TD. I was getting excited!
Ok. I stayed for the last quarter. Would it be possible to remain another week in the survivor pool!? Packers managed to play the ball for almost 9 minutes, and even though the Rams got another TD, Packers managed to hold the final result.
Finally, I went to bed at 1:30 AM, but a lot happier that I was at 8:30 PM after my football team lost the match.
Go Packers! I am ready for week 6!
Best of luck for the pool!
How do you see the prospects of NFL getting popular in Europe?
reply
Well, soccer, basketball are way ahead of NFL. NBA has more penetration than NFL.
reply
It's the same here in India as well. NFL has 0 penetration here.

The Packers got it done for you. You are part of the final 4.

Haha a bit of suffering, to be honest. Let’s see what will bring us next week!
