Welcome to the 25th edition of The Daily Zap — A Daily Newspaper (Kind of 🙏). Here, you'll get links to all of the latest news and updates mostly from the last 24 hours, divided in Sections (much similar to pages on a newspaper).
Let's unfold!

~Bitcoin News of the Day

  • Uncle Jack hits on topics like Kleiber's law, allodial wealth, DARPA, MK-ULTRA (and it’s subsequent versions), the Stanford marshmallow experiment, JFK’s assassination, sunlight medicine, SV40, cancer, COVID and the jabs, and even invisibility, somehow connecting it all subtly to Bitcoin, with a ‘fix the money, fix the world’ subtext.

Global Trade & ~Econ

  • Oil prices are still lower than a year ago, mostly because the United States and other countries have ramped up production and demand in China, the world’s biggest oil importer, has continued to fall as its economy has slowed. Saudi Arabia and seven other oil producers have also agreed to unwind some of their production cuts, though the plan has been delayed.

~Politics_and_Law

  • The Supreme Court returns Monday to tackle a slew of politically charged issues: gun regulation, gender-affirming care for minors and whether adults can be required to provide IDs to access pornographic websites. But the justices may also be pulled more directly into politics through election-related challenges both before and after the Nov. 5 election.

~Stacker_Sports News

  • The team, named Fenix FC after the mythical bird symbolising rebirth, played some friendlies and seven-a-side games last season but now competes in the fifth tier in the northwestern region of Catalonia after being incorporated into a local club in the Barcelona suburb of Sant Feliu de Llobregat.

~Tech & ~Science

  • The hackers might have held access for months to network infrastructure used by the companies to cooperate with court-authorized U.S. requests for communications data, the Journal said. It said the hackers had also accessed other tranches of internet traffic.

~History with Mystery

  • As far as U.S. presidential elections go, the 1824 one was unusually crazy. There were four major candidates, none of whom won enough electoral votes, which meant, according to the U.S. Constitution, the House of Representatives had to pick someone for president. Then, less than two weeks before the House decided, a newspaper published an anonymous letter alleging two of the candidates had made a “corrupt bargain” with each other.

~Entertainment World

  • As Kamala Harris, Rudolph was joined by Andy Samberg as Harris’ husband, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, to kick off the skit. The pair got cozy at home, poured a glass of wine and tuned in while Jim Gaffigan, who returned to play Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, and “SNL” cast member Bowen Yang as Ohio Sen. JD Vance went head-to-head on various topics.

Hello, good morning! I like the image at the start now!! I'll stick with the news from the Middle East and the oil issue... a complex and rather hackneyed topic but one that undoubtedly remains a priority for powers like China!! We'll wait and see but that conflict doesn't look good at all... don't stop posting 👍💪

What's the sense in India about the Middle East situation? Is it about to explode?
reply
The media is buzzing with all sort of bullshit. I listened one media channel declared that India will play a major role by supporting Israel. One thing that all are saying unison is that Russia and China won't take any interest of there's further escalation.
reply
I certainly hope Russia and China stay out of it. It's too bad America won't follow their example.
reply
For Russia, it's quite difficult to manage another war front and China don't have too much military presence in the area.
