i see they have an app and i basically understand what fediment is, I've never used it tho and honestly lightning is pretty good for me
should i check out the app? is there any point? i don't have any personal use cases where it would come in handy but maybe there's a good community?
i have the aqua wallet and while it has liquid btc, again, i don't really have any examples of when i would need it personally
I've used Fedi Bravo as part of my self-education process. I like the use case for families, communities, etc , especially in lesser developed places. But do you need it? No. Especially if you don't see a use case for yourself.

I’ve used it for a bit with freedom one and bitcoin principles but after a few hiccups, I stopped. Fedi is best used with mints from people you know / trust.
I’m looking forward when it becomes easier to setup your own mint, connected to your lightning node with @start9 and @Alby

Maybe makes sense for events example (Join the BTC Prague mint, because it has a bunch of conference themed apps a chat group and private offline transactions) not a necessity but a cool touch. Outside of that, If you're running your own lightning node you'll hardly need to touch Fedi or e-cash for the foreseeable future.
.....Same goes for liquid. If you can run your own node and easily manage liquidity, you don't need to overcomplicate things with additional tokens or procedures....in my opinion.

Yeah I wanted to as well but no one to use it with

It's pointless as an individual/family/small-business, it's self-hostable infrastructure for custodians that want to obfuscate who the users are trusting (political organizations)
