I’m not super interested in duplicating the things that humans are already good at. It seems inefficient. I think at the frontier, we will always need humans and AI. They have complementary strengths. AI is very good at converting billions of pieces of data into one good answer. Humans are good at taking 10 observations and making really inspired guesses.
I guess that’s the edge we humans have over AI. We can lean on our intuition, especially if we have tackled problems in our area of specialisation for many years. Sometimes we can’t even pinpoint why our intuition informs us as such

Yeah... that applies especially to Terrance Tao, arguably the biggest mathematical genius currently alive.

AI is here to stay... every day it innovates in more tasks and more intelligence resources, creating more and more similarities to human beings... in the not too distant future they will continue to occupy activities that we do!! it is inevitable! now as people we must learn new talents and new attitudes every day and be more intelligent!

we do not necessarily need to be more intelligent, but teaching people to be less dumbed down would be a great start 😉. after all, wo/men are the most intelligent creations, but they have been under strong mind control for a long time.
"religions are the opium of the masses."
if the minds continue rising with the tide, we all gonna make it.
