I'm still much in fiat world. Between my fiat job, income, and bills, but I've removed anything beyond keeping the minimum of what I need to maintain functioning in that realm and put it into Bitcoin, mostly $5-10 at a time.
Years of playing around, upgrading my custody, a poor old laptop node in need of resyncing on use. Upgrading my custody and hardware, playing with custodial lightning, opening channels with mobile LSPs. Further upgrading, to an always online dedicated node, electrum server, spinning up my own LN node, opening more channels, backending my own wallets.
I can't even begin to put a number to the hours of content, tutorials and philosophies I've listened to, watched and read. Somehow with a conviction, focus and intent I'm not sure I've ever had. I've managed to actually save for what feels like the first time.
Maybe it's a quantifiable obsession at this point, but price is the least interesting part of the time I've spent pursuing this.
Every time I transact in sats, be it spend and replace, p2p, or zaps for a post on a spectrum of clients and apps... I get a warm fuzzy feeling.

I think we all feel the same. Especially as we watch our stack getting larger, and the fiat price rising for each sat we own.

It's taken me longer than I'd perhaps have liked looking back, but an organic progression, pushing my meager technical skills to their current limits repeatedly, to set myself up in a way where I'm at now, but necessary for my growth and understanding of the tools I'm interacting with.
