Sometimes I see some really dense stuff here on SN. If it doesn't get me interested straight away I usually don't read it and scroll till I find something that does.
I'm not sure zaps have an effect on using SN or nostr. I know when I do get zapped that I like it. Especially now that its going directly to my own LN node. That changed something for me personally. Makes me want to do it more.

Interesting take!
I personally pay more attention to things on these platforms because I really like zapping :) But for sure it changes from person to person!
Can zap be a way to increase the quality of your content?

When nostr gets filled with spam paid relays will definitely be worth it.
On SN I think that most of the high quality posts seem to rise to the top. Also reputation of the OP might play into it too
