I'm quite interested in this as a i know a few here like @DarthCoin has mentioned being fully on a bitcoin standard (i think)
my question is, how and what does this look like for you guys? like i could imagine using bitrefill to do most thinks and then just pick up the slack with finding places on the btc map?
or maybe a bitcoin debit card where available? i used to use nexo for cashback and experimented with the binance debt card back when it was a thing, but obvs these are not true btc standard living
I keep my cash balances in checking accounts as low as possible
I use credit cards to make purchases and then pay the balance off then move the excess cash to bitcoin
I use fold and the bitcoin company to make my needed purchases with gift cards and pre paid debit cards
Darth hates that I use visa prepaid cards but I don’t care. Besides every card i purchase the bitcoin company earns revenues thus keeping a bitcoin first company in business

sounds like a good system, darth gives everyone a tongue lashing anyway. i've never heard of fold, i like the idea of btc rewards on stuff i would have to buy on card anyway.
reply
Yeah like a good father does haha! But I use fold because you can earn rewards on ACH payments. And get sats back when you swipe. It’s an easy way to get extra sats if you are obsessed with stacking at all costs
reply
nice, what sort of % satback do you get? i could use that card on my dca buys too. might as well get some back , right
reply
For ach im in the 0.5% to 0.25% bracket
Sure if you are obsessed with stacking by all means necessary .
But depending on what you buy the sats back can fluctuate significantly
reply
I haven’t done it yet . I haven’t seen many places that I can do it to buy what we need .

apparently there are a ton of places in Switzerland (of all places) with huge adoption rates and you can also pay taxes in btc and things too
reply
It's enough to simply think of your own networth solely in BTC.
Do you have more BTC at the end of the year than at the beginning of the year? Congrats, you did well.
Everything else is irrelevant at this stage of bitcoin's adoption curve.
