TheWildHustle Dreams Twice
Hey freaks,
I had two dreams a couple of nights ago and have decided to recount and walk through the experiences. This was prompted by a couple of characters in the book "A Lodging of Wayfaring Men" analyzing their dreams with others.....The WildHustle would like to do the same.
Dream 1 - TheBuddhistMonks
I was a tourist traveling alone, probably in a monastery in the mountains, surrounded by other tourists as well. The dream was spent playing around with the monks, laughing, and making funny poses. A couple of events stood out the most:
-
ThePictureIncident: I wanted to take a few pictures with the monks. I gave one of them my cell phone, stepped back, and made funny poses with another monk. Both of us were extremely entertained, acting like kids by poking each other's shoulders and pretending it wasn't us. It reminded me of Robin Williams and his sensei engaged in the art of silly play.
-
TheTechnologyStruggle: The monk I had given my cellphone to had no idea how to take a picture or even what the thing was. For a few seconds, I watched him grapple with the foreign technology, and I thought it was funny. Eventually, I signaled another tourist to help the monk take the picture. The picture was taken, I showed them the photos, we all laughed, and then I went on my way.
Dream 2 - TheDeadDog
My wife and I were at a familiar dog park on a bright and sunny Saturday afternoon. We own one dog, but in the dream we had two. The second dog was a small brown Pitbull.
-
TheFriendlyStranger: While we were playing with our dogs and conversing with a few dog enthusiasts, one in particular was extremely friendly. He petted the Pitbull and even cradled it in his arms. We laughed and enjoyed the sunny, picture perfect Saturday afternoon and all was well.
-
TheStrangersBetrayal Upon leaving, I saw that same stranger's car speeding toward my dog on the sidewalk. I tried yanking the leash to save the dog's life, but to no avail. A few police cars started chasing after the driver, who, when I saw him flash by, looked enraged and intent on killing the dog. My wife and I were extremely sad and angry.
-
TheNormalHomecoming But when we got home, everything was fine as if it never happened....... We enjoyed Benjamin's company, petting him and giving him treats in total normality. Life continued on, and we were just as happy as before we lost the other dog.....
I've thought about what these dreams might mean, but would like to withhold some of my thoughts until I hear from the freaks.
What do you think these dreams might signify? What insight might Hustle glean from these visions? Share your thoughts!
