Las Vegas Raiders insider Vincent Bonsignore is reporting that the Raiders are "growing open to the idea of trading Davante Adams" and the Raiders have been "reaching out to teams to gauge interest in the veteran wide receiver"
I had this thought as soon as I heard about Davante's mysterious "hamstring injury" that kept him out of the game on Sunday. I'll be really excited if the Raiders can get at least a 2nd rounder for him.
Any guesses as to where he'll end up? KC, NYJ, LAR, other?

We were discussing a more attractive Jets hypothetical offer: #707710

Send him to the Jets. Not the Chiefs. Not the Chiefs. Not the Chiefs.

Not worried about the Rams?

A healthy Rams with Adams would be concerning but I don't know that they are going to be able to tread water until they get their guys back. 1-3. A couple more losses and they are pretty much sunk.

Adams, Kupp, and Nacua would be arguably three top 5 WR's for a top 5 QB and an elite HC. I don't know if they can afford him, though. The Rams usually run a fairly top heavy roster.

Yes that would be scary. Kupp might be back after the bye to play the Raiders and Nacau a couple weeks after that. I guess the question is can they make the salary work and does it make sense to spend assets now when this year is probably a write off. They would have 2 more years of Adams after this season though so it might make sense but maybe they would rather play for a higher pick.
reply
Maybe, but they are the "F' them picks!" team.
reply
That's true but they have drafted pretty well the past couple years.

Have they had a change of heart?
