Hello Stackers!
It's Monday so we're back doing "Meta Music Mondays" 😉.
From before the territory existed there was just one post a week in a ~meta take over. Now each month we have a different theme and bring music from that theme.
This month we're going after those kicks and flicks, with Swing Month!
It's a genre most wouldn't explore often so let's explore it here!
So let's hear them!
Its the last in the series of swing tracks in September and I've enjoyed diving into this genre with your all 👊
This week I'm bringing the Andrews sisters and Chattanooga Choo Choo. All aboard!!

Peggy was amazing.
It's not on Fountain for some reason, but the Mobituaries podcast did a great episode about Peggy. Really fascinating life.

Robbie Williams - Have You Met Miss Jones?

Who'd have thought that Robbie would have a incredible swing voice, but here he his giving his best Sinatra. The whole album is an absolute gem. This track features at the end of the first Bridget Jones film

This album was the one that got me into swing. His voice lends itself nicely to the genre. Robbie is a national treasure.

I have always loved their unique style of fast vocal syncopation. I also remember that they made great hits in jazz, ballads, folk, country-western and religious music. I really love every single one of their songs.

The Andrews sisters were absolutely fantastic musicians and they spanned lots of genres really well.
