The right tackle thing is driving my dad and I nuts. We had a good one when Gruden came back, so of course he traded Donald Penn away to get a real Gruden Grinder (aka shitty football player). We've had three GM/HC combos since then and they've never addressed this glaring need through either the draft or free agency.
They've finished the last two offseasons tens of millions of dollars under the cap, and yet they never sign or trade for a solid tackle.

They are hard to find. Look at how Guyton got absolutely owned on Thursday night. He is a rookie but if that’s what a first round tackle gets you, yikes.

Alt looks good though. Maybe you get 1 or 2 in each draft that might be studs.
Almost better to draft a higher ceiling guy in 2nd or 3rd round who needs work and see if you can develop him into a stud.

Fuaga's looked pretty good, too, and he's the guy we would have taken this year if Bowers hadn't been there.

True. He has been pretty good for a rookie. PFF has him graded 70.4. I think league avg is 60. Alt is graded 77. Trent is having a down year and he is at 83. Sewell also at an 83. So 77 for a rookie is really good.
