Nostr is just as easily censored at the relay. Just like Mastodon you can host your own which is the one true independence if you had to go that far.
disingenuous take imo. hosting a nostr relay hooks me into the rest of nostr and swapping relays is very simple and non destructive to my social graph. starting up my own social network from 0 users is not a solution to censorship.
