TENET.

This movie hurt my brain on the first watch and didn't really do it for me.
After a few rewatches and YouTube videos explaining some things, I'm less confused and it's one of my favorite movies.
Primer is probably more confusing though, both movies are unique twists on time-travel.

I love Primer, probably one of the best "realistic" time travel movies. I like the low budget appeal as well. This graphic from this review is what helped make sense for me.

I found primer pretty intuitive for some reason. Tenet was bonkers.

Yeah Primer at least behaves like a normal movie.
It's funny how Tenet is basically mimicking Primer at one point, when they hang out in shipping containers while travelling backwards in time.

Tenet is almost a sequel, where clandestine groups have the upgraded version of "the box" and use it for intel gathering.

Holy Motors
Saw it in the mystery movie night of my then local cinema: tickets were only five bucks, but you'd find out which movie you're watching after the tape starts rolling.
It was kinda intriguing but so strange, I still don't know what was going on.

I still don't understand the totem in Inception. I haven't really tried but it feels intentionally opaque.

But it provides the perfect little ending, where the top/spinner is going while he walks away, and it wobbles just a little, but you don't know if he's still in a dream or not. I think it's great.

Yes!
My wife didn't like it, I maintain she needs to give it another chance.

I've never even heard of it! Gonna add it to my list for the next movie night. Thanks!
Edit: just watched the trailer... Now I feel like I may have watched it... But also that's trippy because of the plot/premise haha

"I'm thinking of ending things" comes to mind. Though I haven't seen it enough times to decide what I think about what is happening.

Confusingly good - Cloud Atlas. I had to buy a book as I had a feeling the movie cannot explain the plot. Seems movie was even better at it than the book :))
