My dad used to make me play drinking games with him when I was 7 or 8. And he always won. It honestly got me to stay away from alcohol later on. Not typical parenting but it worked well for me. My dad was a "bad" parent, but.. it was all perfect. I love how it shaped me.

Let your kids have sips of your beer and wine from a young age.
It takes away the rebellion appeal of alcohol, and they won't do as much stupid shit once they're independent.
