Today, I had an interesting discussion with my wife, who owns her own business and is currently in the process of hiring someone new. I drafted the employment contract with the usual clauses in Germany. You can't deviate much from the law anyway. We then talked about additional benefits that the employer could voluntarily offer if a goal is achieved. I suggested, why not an annual adjustment of the salary according to the inflation rate, but capped at 3%? She said no, the inflation rate is not her problem. If he works well, she'll pay him more. He can quit if he doesn't like it. Crazy. I think she is right. She should become a Bitcoiner.
In one way she's right. Anyone who doesn't like the job can quit. I think that people who do job but put their savings into Bitcoin are smart. Those whore running business and not paying enough will be the one most affected in a Bitcoin standard.

What blew me away is the fact that she said that she is not responsible for inflation and that people should solve their financial problems themselves. I love my wife.
reply
I thought she was going to offer a small bitcoin bonus to offset inflation: i.e. whatever the fiat salary is plus a million sats per year.
reply
She is not into Bitcoin.
reply
Misleading headline, then, no? :)
reply
Oh yes, you are right! I think she gets it but it still takes a few miles to fully understand Bitcoin. What she fully gets is playing the Fiat game.
reply
So you were handing over BTC flyers to any other businesses but not to your own wife? #150780 Hard to believe that.
reply
Show me on https://btcmap.org/ which businesses you onboarded to Bitcoin please. Hard to believe that you are only responsible for one.
reply
So, in all this time...
  • you weren't able to teach your wife about Bitcoin
  • you weren't able to onboard her business to accept Bitcoin and pay the employees in Bitcoin.
  • she is still a fiat maxi
So why are you wasting time with this post ?
reply
I am sorry that you are hiding somewhere in a hole in the ground like a psychopath in Romania or Bulgaria from normal people, you have no family, wife or children?

What about paying an employee a tiny part of his salary in SATS?
reply
Yes, could be done under tax law as "Sachleistung" in Germany (material benefit). This is a good idea.

"If he works well, she'll pay him more. He can quit if he doesn't like it. Crazy. I think she is right. She should become a Bitcoiner."
Forget everything else, can you explain this thought process?
reply
She possesses a strong sense of individualism, valuing personal decision-making and responsibility. I believe her actions and mindset align with principles of individual liberty and free markets, making her a potential Bitcoiner. She is supportive of me stacking Bitcoin for the family but is currently too busy to fully explore and understand BTC herself.
reply
Is your wife married?
reply
What does she get? How is this bitcoin related? She is just a regular variety capitalist.

reply
But what she is doing is the same as the bankers- she is using fiat debasement to take advantage of her worker.
reply
She wont be able to retain good employees. Inflation isnt her problem, but there are 100 different places that are hiring that will have better conditions that hers.
reply
She should become a Bitcoiner.
@OPAGO_PAY can help a lot with that if you are in Germany... they onboarded so many businesses in germany.
reply
Btw, does Michael know what you are doing in his name here? This is not good for his business.
reply
If you weren't capable to onboard your wife business, maybe you need help.
reply
dude, don't stray from the topic
reply
exactly. The topic is not about bitcoin and especially not for bitcoin_beginners. This meaningless post would fit better on any other territory non-bitcoin related but not here.
