It's all self-interest. And, I think it will be great to have these entities run the nuclear power plants. As long as they won't be in charge of our money, we permit them to monopolize the nuclear industry.

How did the self-interest change?
Nuclear power will be deflationary to such a degree it exposes or altogether ends the fiat system, which is why these same interests have fought energy production of all kinds for decades.
They can't argue against it on environmental grounds anymore, that jig is up, but the pivot signals a larger plan for the financial system.
