Not a neurologist but of all the scary degenerative diseases I've seen this seems the most manageable.
Curious if those with trauma induced PD have much more milder cases as well.. Freddie Roach seems to remain quite functional as a boxing coach.

It can get pretty brutal towards the end but it's a slower decline and very manageable for many years if it isn't progressing rapidly. Michael J Fox was diagnosed in 1991 and he is still around. Not doing so great but the drugs and treatments have kept him alive.
Fox was only 29 when he was diagnosed though. It tends to be more rapid the older you are.

Yeah I definitely don't intend to minimize the disease, I just don't feel as useless/hopeless with these patients vs those with ALS, MS etc.
You just reminded me Back to the Future series deserves a rewatch...
