I recently thought of doing the same thing. I wouldn't even call some of the stuff crap. I have a lot of great books, in good condition, that I have already read or just weren't to my taste. I have been thinking of setting up some kind of page to sell them for sats.
I'm thinking of maybe trying Agora territory here. I haven't found time yet.
I would not sell all books. Some of them (even that you read it) could be left as a "legacy". ofc not all worth keeping them if you have too many.

In this digitized era we are living, I am sure many of them you can still have them in digital format.
But IMHO a 10% "buffer zone" I would keep in hard copy, selecting the most important ones (for you).
Like @0xbitcoiner said in our "survival game" discussion... a book with all the tips and tricks to survive in a fucked up world, is always good to have. A pdf or epub if you do not have batteries anymore, is totally useless.

What a great discussion! Ever since that day, I've made sure to have an axe and a book on hand, just in case the 'world ends'. ðŸ¤
And as for my books, I could never sell them all. I'd definitely hold onto my favorites.
