This is a fantastic doco I recommended it to people all the time but thus far nobody I've told to has actually watched it 😅
Happy to see it mentioned here and I give a strong thumbs up.
I love the fact that you can't really put the content of the series into a box either. People across the political spectrum claim this film as theirs, but it just doesn't have an agenda in that way. Curtis has mentioned this himself in some interviews about it.
I think he made some other good stuff too, I've been meaning to watch the one about "hyperreality" in post-Soviet Russia.
Here's a link to Curtis' Wikipedia page if anyone is interested, to find more of his work. But if you haven't watched Century yet, I'd recommend doing they before dipping into any info about him... Best to watch that series with a blank slate and no preconceptions!

I hadn't heard of his other stuff, but now I am looking through it. I'll check "hyperreality". Just realized he put something out in September 2023 called "Hypernormalisation".
The description sounds interesting:
Our world is strange, and often fake and corrupt, but how did we get here? We live in a time of great uncertainty and confusion. Events keep happening that seem inexplicable and out of control. Donald Trump, Brexit, the War in Syria, the endless migrant crisis, random bomb attacks. And those who are supposed to be in power are paralysed - they have no idea what to do.
