SN team has been working hard to build out a suite of external wallet connections for stackers enabled for auto-withdrawing. Just to be clear, RECEIVE means your precious sats will move automagically from SN node to your connected wallet.

Which one is your currently connected one? Have you tried others before sticking with it?

Another detail, I noticed that certain connections get errors when desired_balance=0. I ended up leaving a minimum amount of sats in SN wallet based on my average daily zapping, so there's no need to fund it automatically. I'll do it when needed. Wanted to double-check if this is a good practice, or should I find a way to leave SN wallet balance always to 0?

I have used a lightning address and NWC. NWC to Alby Hub works best so far. I keep a 0 balance in my wallet.

I used an umbrel node. I added the Alby community store (I think that's what it's called) to the Umbrel apps store. From there just choose the Alby hub app and follow the directions. Specifically, I linked my node to my already existing Alby account. Caveat- I first used the Alby NWC connect app. Apparently Alby does not support that app anymore even though it's still in the store. Don't use it. It has given me a few issues. I also have a Start9 node. I haven't tried that yet, but I think it's fairly straightforward.

I am interesting because I plan to run AH and I did ask this question. Which backend did you choose while installing AH? Maybe AH is configured by umbrel team to used programs at localhost, do you know? thanks

Depending on the node you using you probably need a different release of AH. from umbrel is available on the community store, maybe on S9 too, not sure. If you're running bitcoind locally or via docker, you probably have few more challenges.

I don't know. As @DarthCoin pointed out, LND is listed as a backend. There are a number of Alby accounts here that could surely answer your questions. @Alby is one, but there are others. @ek might be able to help also.

And I answered to you in that question. If you want a simple installation, on any simple PC, install directly LND in neutrino mode, without being synced from a full bitcoind node (local or remote) and next to that LND install Alby Hub and connect to your LND. Done. It works like a charm. Without Umbrel, Start9, Raspi or any other bundle. Simple and clean, on low resources. AlbyHub will act as a node management software.

It was more less clear to me but I was also interesting if umbrel / S9 users knows how AH is configured. And also trying to understand how AH is integrated in Umbrel Start9.

As you have already experience, you could try documenting the steps if you do it with S9 node! I feel like leaking data to Alby when using their services. That's maybe the cost to have thing smoother.

In the past, I tried connecting SN wallet via CLN and had some errors. Maybe was too early, I'll try again later on.

Blink works fine but it takes out 1 Satoshi evertime you zap.

That sucks... especially when zapping 1 sat! Thanks for sharing. Another thing I don't like of blink is that it requires a phone number to register, and VOiP numbers don't work...
