Humanity has gotten so caught up in creating something that is so good at doing things for us that now we don't know how to do them, we become obsolete over time.

AI for example, while growing in utility, has a thick fog of hype right now. It makes it very difficult to see what's real and what isn't. 

Hype is a huge countersignal for me and why I'm more bullish on bitcoin apps today than a few years ago - no one cares, no one is talking about them, no one is investing in them, and everyone is totally distracted by all kinds of nonsense.
