I think with the new rules with pitchers that opened up the base paths it’s not as sketchy to run… I also forgot how fast he was as well.
Now that we are at the end of the season they clenched a playoff spot yeah he needs to not risk it. He got this record he’s gotta be smart. It also helps he wears a oven mitt and from what I can recall almost always slides feet first
