I remember that @JoeNakamoto did something similar when he visited us with Paco RunWithBitcoin at the first meetup held in Cuba. He gave a demonstration of how fast and efficient Bitcoin payments are. Many people were amazed because he hadn't placed the invoice in X and it was already being paid from an African country if I remember correctly. A very good initiative.
