I have here a first small list of typical products on Crete or Greece, which a friend of mine has sent me. The prices are indicative prices and minimum prices, which can go up a bit.
Feta cheese: Price: €8–12/kg
Olive oil (Extra Virgin): Price: €4–9/L
Greek yogurt: Price: €3–6/kg
Local Greek wine: Price: €6–15/bottle (depending on brand and vintage)
Ouzo (traditional Greek spirit): Price: €10–20/bottle
Honey (local varieties): Price: €8–15/kg
Greek olives (Kalamata!!! or others): Price: €4–8/kg
Baklava Price: €2–5 per piece
Greek coffee (in a café): Price: €1.50–3 per cup
Herbs (very good business!!(oregano, thyme, etc.): Price: €2–5 per bundle
Mastic gum products Price: €5–15 per pack (depending on type)
Handmade ceramics (plates, bowls, etc.): Price: €15–60 per piece (depending on size and craftsmanship)
Leather sandals (handmade): Price: €30–80 depending on design
Raki (Cretan spirit): Price: €8–15/bottle
Tsoureki (Greek Easter bread): Price: €5–10 per loaf
Loukoumi (Turkish delight): Price: €5–10 per box (depending on size)
Handwoven textiles (rugs, blankets): Price: from €50
Hand-painted icons (religious art): Price: from €30 depending on size and artistry
I would love to trade for rugs blankets or gum. Pretty much dry goods to start out with.
