Agreed - while Telegram was the flavour of the month Tox got overlooked.

But Telegram was always centralised and thus vulnerable.

Now hopefully people will realise that secure private and decentralised communication is still possible ~ via Tox.

Tox is great. It's hard to get other people to use it, though. I've come to think adoption is really the only problem.

The ability to communicate privately is fundamental to freedom of thought and freedom of action.

There are however now very few channels immune to surveillance...because despots everywhere hate the idea that we might think and talk without them listening to us.

Tox is perhaps one of the best ways of establishing and enjoying secure private communications globally via the internet.
