The article was okay. As an ancient coin collector, I always enjoy the history of coin debasement coinciding with the gradual deterioration of the Roman Empire. The florin discussion regarding the Renaissance was also instructive. What really interested me, though, is that the site was for sale for 2 btc! Does anyone know anything about the history of this site?

I have recently started reading a book called "Money - the true story of a made-up thing" and the author mentioned Marco Polo's story about paper money in the Far East. Interesting indeed.
