Benson Takes Over Congress

Last Thursday through yesterday I watched Benson whose parents don’t work on The Hill like all the other dogs I watch. Sadly for him he had to brave a few hours at home alone Thursday since we were still in session but Friday he got to come in and make a new best friend! Bella, a German Sheppard, made her first appearance on Friday and Benson loved playing with her!
She was so gentle and when she had to go to a meeting Benson was so sad and waited outside her door for her to come back!
Benson also saw his other friends like our Staff Assistant for the mandatory belly rubs!
As well as see some friend he had made the last time he had been in but I don’t think he remembered!
Overall I think he had a fantastic Friday at work! Monday wasn’t near as fun as there were not as many dogs at work so he had to work more! As you can see he really put in a lot of work!
It is a RUFF life if you ask him!

Hi bud! Yeah some offices allow dogs to come in! Given the high-stress environment, it has been shown to help boost mental and physical health! Sometimes dogs even appear on the Teams calls with other agencies and departments! Amazingly these guys and gals manage to do just enough to keep our sanity!

wow so even worst than that! the politicians are not even in the office, supposedly working... fucking scumbags. The insanity goes way beyond imagination... and stupid people still pay taxes to sustain this total bullshit.

Also sorry mental health matters! Such a shame to see someone like yourself unable to grasp the very critical component of life but ya know you do seem primed to be in the camp that PTSD doesn't exist and that shell-shocked soldiers were just weak people.
