I seem to recall after week of 10 last year the Seahawks and 49ers were tied for the division lead at 6-3. 49ers finished 3 games ahead of the Seahawks and 2 games ahead of the Rams and rested all their starters the last game of the season.
Eagles were also 8-1 at this point and went 3-5 over their final 8 games.
Buffalo was 6-6
Deebo is going to be out for a couple weeks now too. Yikes.
I was going to make a new post about this but injuries are starting to pile up. This is a big one. Any doubts now about the niners and the division?
No. It’s getting concerning but they expect Deebo to be out for a couple weeks. They have the Rams and Patriots coming up. Rams are even more banged up than the Niners and Patriots have played fairly well so far but that should be winnable even with guys hurt. If they drop the next two then I would be concerned about the division.
Still extremely early
Yes. I still think the 49ers need to go 4-1 in their first 5 games, so you hate to lose winnable games. They have a tough schedule and the early part is the easiest portion. It’s going to be a dog fight for that number one seed. Fortunately the Lions also had a blip yesterday, we will see what the Eagles do tonight.
With Stafford looking older and older I think there’s a solid argument Kyler is the best QB in the NFC west
People forget how good he was in 2020-2021. Cards have a very balanced offensive attack.
If he plays at the top of his game and stays healthy he may very well be. That has not happened since 2020-21.
If there is no new call of duty coming out he might have a good year. You know the knock on Kyler is he as all the tools to be a top 5 QB but he likes playing video games more than being great at football. Maybe he has grown up. We will see.

When he rehabbed his acl he was in the facility everyday. First in last to leave kinda stuff. He’s definitely a “quieter” leader but internally teammates, local media and new leadership have 0 concerns.

I hope he continues to play at the top of his game. I would rather see the Cards be relevant than the Seagulls or the Scams but I am not sure they will be. Better than last year and the Kingsbury era definitely. A contender. Probably not.
