I've always been of the belief that the "I" in AI is a misnomer, that AI is a very sophisticated word predictor, and yes, based on other people's data, but I have to admit this is huge, especially also because it won't stop there...
to me is the Major improvements in how AI understands and generates human language, making interactions with machines more natural and contextually aware.
