Let's hear some of your latest Bitcoin purchases, feel free to include links to the shops or merchants you bought from too.
If you missed our last thread, here are some of the items stackers recently spent their sats on.

This video upload rocks! but Bitcoin on it rocks better!!! I bet you orange pilled that bar owner too.

🍻

not only the bar owner, but many of their customers too. I like to call loud the waiter and ask to pay with bitcoin, so all the rest of the people in the bar could hear.

You definitely have material there to write bitcoin novels!

It's a struggle. All these years, trying to onboard many people, but each one have a different story, different situation, some not having even a fucking decent phone.
We are talking about mass adoption, but in reality we are so far from it. I've seen people that don't even know how to send an email and we want them to use bitcoin... let's get serious, that will not gonna happen, not even in 20 years.

I agree at this current state people that buy bitcoin are holding for retirement or a future generation. It’s gonna take a long time before bitcoin is the new currency of the land

The important is to onboard people around you and within your community. The fact that you are buying beer, between many other things, with sats will probably make your (and those orange pilled) life easier in the future.

Yes, I arranged in some way to be able to spend only sats for my needs. But is not enough if is only for me.

OrangePillApp It's to find local plebs wherever you are and also merchants+events. It's neat while traveling especially

I don't think I've bought anything with bitcoin since the last one of these. I was going to buy a poster from @Scoresby but they're all sold out. I've had an empty spot on my office wall since forever that I'd like to fill.

Not a shill as I don’t work for them but I just opened a channel via Alby Hub. Very cool so far and looking forward to being able to board friends and family onto my own lightning node.

Congrats 🙌 this is a great investment! Do you know already which app/implementation to use?

Oh yea, I’ve setup a lightning node before and it was an epic deep dive. This is way more simple without a doubt. Custodial for smaller amounts is just easier to use and deal with overall, but I’m happy to see self sovereign tools improving all around.
