Anyone else think fantasy sports is a waste of time? I use to play but I find it always comes down to random performances late in the season that determines the league winner. Satoshi for your thoughts.
Can you guys please tell me if there's any other pool currently live on SN except @NFLsurvivor2024 @SN_MusicPool @Carresan's UCL pool?
reply
I don't exactly know any other. @grayruby can answer exactly.

Thank you so much

I am not big into fantasy but @Public_N_M_E created an SN fantasy league for Stacker sports this year and we are having fun with it. Only 6 of us in the league and just bragging rights on the line.

First year playing for you?
reply
First year in many years. I played once before around a decade ago with some friends.

Good luck!

I need it. Haha.

It’s a nice bread and circus distraction from the collapsing fiat system

That’s actually worth the time to pay attention to.

I just find it entertaining. Seeing as I'm not from the US fantasy NFL was how I got into the sport and how I started to care about the players and the teams. It was for me a pathway into better understanding the sport itself. And now, it's just kinda fun to have some skin in all of the games because I've got players in them on my fantasy team.
Maybe you should join the league next year? Might spark your enjoyment up again.
reply
I’m the opposite. I root are one team and then got into fantasy after.

It would be a waste of time if that became the center of your life; as long as it isn't, it's like following your favorite team's season, I don't see anything wrong with it, on the contrary, you enjoy it a lot.
reply
I've always enjoyed myself, you're right, it's just like supporting your team. If you find yourself obsessing over the minutiae over on PFF. Then you should take a step back for sure.

Played for many years, prefer to just watch my favorite team instead.
