This is a challenging dynamic for sure. And although i find that teachers have great intentions, it seems the school system makes it difficult to carry out their role the way you describe. I am so grateful that my grown kids got to attend the only charter waldorf school that I know of. It has been a beautiful experience. And their mom was a teacher there for most of the years they were there which helped a lot to maintain that connection. In the future I would probably homeschool my kids. Thanks for the post. 💚
