That is quite an achievement for a place like Cuba!
Is not easy to start accepting BTC and also show it publicly. I met and onboard merchants in EU that they were reticent to publish their place on BTCmap, they wanted to just stay low. So for a merchant in Cuba, this is brave!
The thing with BTC circular economy is that very understand how it starts and how will evolve. Many people think that will be suddenly, like magic, but is not like that. Is a very long way and hard work, preparing a lot of aspects. Is not so easy to get rid of fiat.
Yes, people here on SN hear my story, that I live in a total Bitcoin standard, but that wasn't easy. Remember I am in Bitcoinlandia for more than 12 years and I prepared my steps, little by little from the beginning. Meanwhile many were busy with trading shitcoins, I was concentrate on my bitcoin knowledge and how to get rid of fiat.
I really appreciate what you guys are doing in Cuba, because I understand how is to live in a communist regime, I myself I am a survivor of 20 years of pure hard communism (all my youth). That regime made me say "I was forged in fire and nothing can break me now".
Well @DarthCoin, you may not know the extent of your guides. In our Cuba_Bitcoin community they are very well regarded, with the category of the best. So in a way as part of the great Bitcoin community along with other great friends, you are somewhat responsible for what we are doing here.
