Today, I'm bringing you 13 new street photographs that capture life in this Venezuelan city.
These photographs are as varied as life itself.
I'll start with this one because I really like how you can follow the street all the way up, and then in the background, you see the mountain, gigantic.
A different angle from the previous photo, focused on the facade of the houses and the man at the end...
The surroundings matter a lot. This girl was dressed very nicely, but the exact place I photographed her didn't help much.
The same with this man, who, despite being dressed in a suit, the surroundings completely change the context.
The following photo conveys the message of the passage of time and the decay that comes with it...
A house with a slightly old facade.
I took the next photo because I saw a flag hanging outside a balcony, and that's something you don't see very often in Venezuela.
Believe it or not, what you'll see next is a university.
A man carrying food home
Further on, he stopped to talk to a lady, almost in the middle of the street
I took the next photo because despite having an informal job selling food on the streets, the man was dressed very well-groomed.
I've told you before that it's very common to see old cars still in circulation here.
A pensive man, he looks sad.
I hope you enjoyed these photographs as much as I did!
