I've made a second, larger version (~1L) based off of the smaller pouch (~0.5L) I've posted about before:
I actually feel comfortable and confident enough to have a try at fabricating two smaller "real" pouches out of original items from the brand I'm rocking, which means that I can craft my own gear using original hardware, making it a seamless match!
I'm overall pretty happy with both the looks and functionality, but I'd like to hear if the "looks" can be "upped" even more; I'm already planning on adding some cord to the zippers which would increase the grippiness and which would further act as "silencers" to the pullers.
Any thoughts?

Look at the last pic, ain't that neat?! I mean, would it even be possible? I've never seen a pouch where the pull's were specifically made to be stowed on the sides / out of sight; I mean, I do have, but then you'd get one big flapsy storm flap, and those really don't operate that smooth, as you'll have to fold the flap over every time you want to acces the damn thing- I don't like that, and neither do others, or so my observations... 🤭

They look nice as-is. The zipper popping out the storm flap is the only thing that stands out to me. So if you like it, keep it.

I'm more interested in how I could do the overall seams differently. I kinda like the "invisible" seams as per the above, but I'm thinking about a way to make them "pop" out more, maybe even give the whole pouch some more structural integrity...
I haven't done much sewing outside of a few upholstery projects, but that sounds like a nice target for experiments.

Yeah, I could've went with a #5 instead of the above #8, but the #8's sturdier and also comes at a width of 4 cm, whereas the #5's only 3.2 cm, making the #8 easier to work with within the above measurements, but I tend to agree with ya!
