I think the time is now, in the future bitcoin will be scarcer and harder to acquire, and the idea that it will be for everyone is something that is far from being real (although it may be), the large investment funds have amassed a considerable amount of bitcoins and if we add to that the intentions of many governments to add bitcoin to their reserves, then it will be even more difficult.

The % that big blobs own is a tiny drop in the ocean. Before gold got kidnaped, thw scenario was the same and worked fairly well. The difference is that coercive tricks won't work again, given the bitcoin's censorship resistence nature. The inevitability of adoption is as certain as the endless seek for better life.
