Sorry but I feel these articles need a bit more context for the normal folks to be more interested in it. For example it would have been better if we just know what are plasma Bubbles? If you think it's a nothing suggestion, feel free to ditch it.
Equatorial plasma bubbles are an ionospheric phenomenon near the Earth's geomagnetic equator at night time. They affect radio waves by causing varying delays. They degrade the performance of GPS. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equatorial_plasma_bubble
