I am traveling and rented a car, this car is 1000cc and it drinks so little gasoline. I never had a car like that and I am surprised how it stimulates me to drive under the road limits, plus it saves me a lot of money. It's a VW polo 1000cc not the turbo version..I was making 4,6l/100km. Besides the money aspect what I want to talk about is how driving slowly, with all the calm in the mind it makes us much less tired, even after very long trips on the car, it's like a complete reverse of the stress of driving fast and forcing our brain to work harder to calculate is there's a cop in the next turn, or a speed limit eletronic control or even getting mad when there's a truck or slow car ahead. I imagine what all the stress may cause in our body in the hormonal level. But when driving slowly there's this calm and peace of mind that makes me enjoy much more the moment, better than this only listening to a good podcast.

Thank you for sharing your story with us. I have always driven, but I have never liked driving at high speeds. I also relax a lot when I am on the road and see nature. It also relaxes me to listen to music while I drive or sometimes when I am with my family talking to my wife, I enjoy the laughter of my children throughout the trip.

When I was young I used to have to much anger and used to drive like a mad person, I had a peugeot 206 1600cc 16v and used to drive at maximum speed almost all the time on the road at 210km/h, it's a miracle I am alive, had such a high time preference.

Ah okay, my grandfather taught me that; my grandfather drove very slowly, that's why I have always driven with caution.

I actually don’t have a license. I enjoy being driven around on long road trips by my wife or father-in-law haha
