how high do they go i wonder? being above the atmosphere would the GPUs be more susceptible to data corruption from stray cosmic particles?

This is a YC company trying to build data centers in space. The pitch is mostly: solar is more efficient in space, space is cold, and data center size is effectively unlimited.

I imagine some things need to be adapted to run in a vacuum and at those temperatures, but maybe not.
