I saw the highlight of the Corbin Carrol inside the park a few days ago.
I noticed that his average was .227 (as seen down in the bottom right of screen).
Has he been the Dbacks lead off hitter the whole season?
It worked on this game but I would have a hard time as a manger penciling in a .227 AVG hitter into the lead off spot.

the league is all about strikeouts for pitchers and home runs for hitters. Corbin is 5th on the team in HR and out of the 5, I think he's the fastest. So hit him leadoff? Just my take
He is their young star. He is having a sophomore slump. He was great last year.
I guess they want to stick with him through his struggles. It definitely has been a rough year for him, but he is hitting a bit better lately.
On base percent is more important than batting average
