Hmmm I wonder how this stacks up against Daylight Computer. One obvious difference seems to be that ReMarkable isn't intended as a computer replacement.

I recently bought a Remarkable, not this new one though. Figures that they would come out with a new one.

I wanted something I could write on and I love eInk. Been using it for reading as well but its not what it is designed for. It works but not as good as other e-readers (I imagine).
The device runs Linux and I can sync without the cloud stuff enabled. Really dig that. I haven't really tried to install third party apps or the many other hacks/improvements yet. Its a cool device though.
