I'll be honest, the first time I saw him in person I was horrified, I said: Oh my god, what happened to that dog? How horrible. The person I was with said: Shhhh, don't say that out loud here, he's the national dog of Peru. After that I've seen many of those dogs.

They are very sociable dogs that get along well with other animals and are especially affectionate with their owners. In addition, they are excellent playmates for children, as they are playful and energetic.

It's the impression you get at first sight, especially if you've never heard of them. If you see them by surprise, it's quite shocking. I've never interacted with one of those dogs. People here are very jealous of their dogs.
