I hate to say this but bitcoins security budget issue might not be as bad it seems since the world entirely seems to have its energy output shrink significantly going forward.
But even if world energy output stays the same or increases, and BTC security budget decreases, the marketcap will just adjust. I know its annoying to have this uncertainty, but the current halving schedule seems to be one of bitcoins biggest strengths, what sets it apart from other PoW coins. But i could be wrong.
If you live in Europe buying Bitcoin is a great way to escape the coming capital controls and bail ins but sadly most people wont realise that before its too late?
Small recommendation of the day: If you are interested in negotiation, the book "Never Split The Difference" by Chris Voss will open up the world of how to negotiate.
Just submitted the back button changes. Had trouble sleeping last night when it occurred to me that I could do it with minimal code changes using prior magic that I wrote.
Put your ASICs on the rack
A valid nonce is what I lack
All these shitcoins are definitely wack
Just chase sats like ghosts chase Pac

Here in the UK, our new PM is pushing for a Β£130b rescue plan that will cap energy bills throughout the coming winter. There's apparently no plan to pay this back, as she's also a strong advocate of lowering taxes.
She says there isn't but there is. It'll be 90% income taxes once out of the woods, look what happened during comparable periods in history following conflict.
The 1st World War led to income tax being raised to 30% to pay for military expenditure while the surtax was set at 41% in 1938 to pay for Britainβs rearmament programme in the run-up to the 2nd World War.
During the 1950s and 1960s, income tax in the UK was at its highest levels reaching 90% at its highest rate. In 1965 a separate Corporation Tax was established for businesses.
Messing around with React, again, while working on UselessShit.co. Today I'm adding links & descriptions to Bitcoin Resources. Later on I will evaluate the meta (& og) tags, since there's basically no SEO done yet.
Also I got my hands on a descent laser printer, purchased some nice business card paper along with a guillotine paper trimmer, so I'll be making a bunch of quality cards to hand out π
These business-sized cards are intended to spread bitcoin awareness in several ways. Some of them show prices in USD & BTC for things like eggs, a couple years ago and now, for people to clearly see that if bitcoin was base money, everything would be getting cheaper. Other cards are loaded with sats, so they can be used as gifts - eg. whenever a newbie gets one, they can download a lightning wallet, load it with free sats and play around with bitcoin payments. There's also cards intended to shame close friends for buying useless stuff. Also with this card generator one can create different cards without too much hustle.
This is pretty much a work in progress, so this could be a future feature - I could make a dedicated page for each interested party and they could create cards with their own logo/url
Interesting π I guess I'll start working on a feature to allow for bulk card creation first and then implement an API π If you'd like to collaborate in one way or another, you can hit me up on twitter
