While I wasnt as outraged as others have been over how the driver reacted in court today he did not do himself any favors. I honestly chalk a lot of it up to either
A) still being drunk or hungover
B) in a state of shock
I didn’t hear about it. How did he act?
Some people say he wasnt taking it seriously or how he was seemingly dismissive of what was going on but I honestly just don't think he was right whether it be from idea A or B the guy wasn't there.
He seemed a little unhappy he had to spend the weekend in jail which I feel like leads more credence to him being out of it
It’s just sad how many people get killed riding bikes in the USA. It’s somewhat common where I live that is why I choose not to ride a bike to work. Drivers here are terrible everyone is in a super rush
