How do you see the synergies between Liquid and Lightning, at the moment they seem so seperate wallets don't support both, you can't create a channel from a liquid utxo etc
Also with all these L-USDT, synthetic USD, Omni USDT, FUSD with fuji, how do you see a solution for interoperability issues? Let say I have L-USDT but I want to pay someone who is using USD via galoys synthetic model
Will it be like the shitcoin DEFI liquidity pool model, because that just seems like it opens up a lot issues and attack vectors

Perfect question. 1)We're reserching these synergies there' 1 year and we think that is totally possible. How creating Hosted channels or fundding channels based in L-USD and also be compatible with HTLC and UTXO.
2)In this case, we'll create channels base in the demand from market how USDT, FUSD, etc.
3)We not will follow "DeFi" done on shitcoins. We're studyig possibles model using script native from Bitcoin and having less risks and attacks.

Searching for Layer2Labs I found a google sites web. LOL are you serious? I know (I hope) is just a temporary web but it doesn't look good when your moto is "freedom to people"...
Cost few bucks to buy a domain a spin up a simple web self hosted. Nobody expect a fancy web for a startup, but this could be the minimum to be done.

What are your reasons for being into sidechains? And why not just focus all-in on Lightning?

We think that sidechains, softchains and statechains are part of the ecosystem Bitcoin and are very important for our products that we're building. Statistically we're 99% Lightning and 1% sidechains.
